Internet of Vehicles

The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) integrates intelligent transportation networks and management systems. Adopting advanced sensors, wireless communication, data processing and data exchange technologies, it collects useful information through sensors mounted on vehicles and terminals. The collected data is transmitted to the management platform via wireless networks for analysis and processing. The IoV improves the efficiency of transportation systems and boosts safety for vehicles on the road as well as pedestrians.
Its applications include On-Board Diagnostics (OBD), GPS navigation, real-time vehicle data collection, telemetry devices, traffic light control and more.
